Rules, Regulations & Conditions of Entry

• Tickets are sold exclusively through Webtickets and authorised outlets, including Pick n Pay and Boxer.
• When purchasing a ticket on Webtickets, you must actively tick a mandatory box confirming that you have read and agree to the full Pines Resort Rules, Regulations, Ticket Policies, Refund Policy, Waiver, Indemnity, and risk warnings.
• Ticking this box is required to complete your purchase and is legally binding.
• Visitors who purchase tickets in-store acknowledge that acceptance of these terms is a condition of sale.
• Pines Resort is not liable for any failure by third-party ticketing systems to display or record your acceptance.

• Right of admission is reserved. Pines Resort may refuse entry or remove any Visitor for non-compliance, unsafe conduct, intoxication, or safety concerns — without refund.
• A valid pre-purchased ticket is required for entry. No gate sales are available.
• Tickets are valid only for the specific date, ticket type, age category, and admission option purchased.
• Wristbands must be worn at all times. Lost, removed, or damaged wristbands are invalid.
• Re-entry is not permitted once you have entered the Resort.
• Upgrades or exchanges may be permitted at management's discretion. Downgrades are not permitted.

Searches & Alcohol Enforcement

• All bags, cooler boxes, and items brought onto the premises are subject to inspection.
• No glass containers or outside alcohol are permitted anywhere on the premises.
• Alcohol detection devices may be used to identify alcohol in liquids.
• Refusing inspection or testing is considered non-compliance and may result in denial of entry or removal without refund.
• By entering Pines Resort, all Visitors consent to such inspections as a reasonable and necessary condition of entry.
• In the event of any dispute, the decision of Pines Resort management on duty is final, subject to applicable law.

Refunds

• Refunds are only available if requested at least 24 hours before your scheduled visit date.
• No refunds apply once a ticket has been scanned, a wristband issued, or entry granted.
• No refunds apply for missed visits, failure to attend, or failure to follow this policy.
• Webtickets service and booking fees are third-party charges and are not controlled by Pines Resort.

Date Changes

• Ticket date changes are permitted until 11:00 AM on the day of your visit and must be processed through Webtickets.
• Once a ticket has been changed to another date, it is no longer eligible for a refund.
• Temporary closures or operational interruptions during operating hours do not qualify for refunds or date changes.

Weather & Emergency Closure Exception

• If Pines Resort closes before the event date due to extreme weather or an unforeseen emergency, affected ticket holders will be notified and assisted with date changes or refunds.
• Tickets may not be resold, transferred, duplicated, copied, shared by screenshot, or used by anyone other than the intended ticket holder.

• Pines Resort is an outdoor venue. Weather conditions may change without notice.
• No refunds or date changes apply for rain or thunderstorms after entry.
• Lightning can be detected in surrounding areas even when the sky directly above Pines Resort appears clear. Temporary closures may still be required for guest safety.
• If lightning is detected, seen, or thunder is heard, all water attractions will close immediately. Visitors must exit the water and follow staff instructions without delay.
• Facilities will reopen only after 30 consecutive minutes with no lightning detected.
• No refunds, discounts, or date changes apply for weather-related closures during operating hours.

• Pines Resort is a potentially hazardous environment. All facilities are used entirely at the Visitor's own risk.
• Pines Resort is not liable for injury, death, illness, loss, theft, or damage, except where caused by Pines Resort's proven gross negligence as defined by South African law.
• No intoxicated person may participate in any activity.
• Children must be under direct adult supervision at all times. Parents and guardians accept full responsibility for minors in their care.
• Visitors must follow all lifeguard and staff instructions, signage, and facility rules at all times.
• First aid is available on-site. All incidents, injuries, or safety concerns must be reported to staff immediately.
• Visitors are responsible for their own belongings. Pines Resort is not liable for lost or stolen items.
• Lockers are available subject to availability.

• Food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted in plastic containers only. No glass.
• Only alcohol purchased on-site is permitted, and is served in plastic cups — no glass leaves the bar.
• Any outside alcohol or glass discovered on the premises will be confiscated and disposed of immediately, without compensation.
• Disguised or concealed alcohol is a serious breach of these terms and may result in removal without refund.
• Alcohol consumption in parking areas is prohibited under the Liquor Act No. 59 of 2003.
• Hubbly/hookah pipes are permitted only if kept stationary within designated picnic or braai areas.

• Resort operating hours are 09:00 – 17:00. Water slides open at 09:30. Pools and slides close at 16:30.
• Only synthetic swimwear is permitted on slides and in pools.
• Denim, jewellery, belts, zips, hats, sunglasses, and other unsafe items are not permitted on slides.
• All slide age, height, and safety restrictions must be followed at all times. Wristbands are checked at each slide to confirm the correct age category was purchased.
• Only one rider is permitted per slide at a time. Children may NOT ride on a parent's or guardian's lap. Each person must slide independently.
• Load shedding or reduced operations do not qualify for refunds.
• Electrical outlets are not available for public use.
• Gas-powered equipment may only be used with prior management approval.
• Gazebos are permitted. Stretch tents are not permitted.
• Braai and picnic areas are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Pines Resort may close, suspend, or restrict access to any facility at management's discretion. Such closures do not constitute grounds for a refund.

• The following items are not permitted: sound systems, Bluetooth speakers, vehicle sound systems, drones, weapons, firearms, and unauthorised equipment.
• Rude, aggressive, disruptive, or unsafe behaviour may result in immediate removal without refund.
• No pets are permitted.
• Unauthorised use of Pines Resort branding or intellectual property is prohibited.
• Professional or commercial photography and videography requires prior written permission from management.

• Lapa hire is subject to separate hire fees, refundable deposits, conditions of use, and a cancellation policy.
• No ticket date changes apply to Lapa bookings, including for weather-related reasons.
• Booking a Lapa does not reserve or guarantee entrance tickets.
• Lapa bookings are subject to all general Pines Resort rules and safety policies.
• External caterers, decorators, or service providers may only enter with prior written approval from management.

• Vehicles are parked entirely at the owner's risk.
• Pines Resort accepts no liability for loss or damage to vehicles or their contents.
• Illegally parked vehicles may be towed at the owner's expense.
• Visitors indemnify and hold harmless Pines Resort against any claims arising from parking use.

• CCTV surveillance operates throughout the Resort for safety and security purposes, in compliance with POPIA.
• Personal information is processed lawfully and only for legitimate operational purposes.
• Visitors may appear in CCTV, operational footage, or promotional content. If you wish to opt out of promotional use, please submit a written request to management.

• By purchasing a ticket and/or entering Pines Resort, you confirm your acceptance of these terms in full.
• Failure to comply may result in removal without refund and/or legal action.
• Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under the CPA or other applicable South African law.
• Pines Resort reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. The latest version published on the official website shall apply.
