General

Do we need to make a booking or reservation?

You do not need to make a booking or reservation; however, please ensure you have purchased your tickets in advance. Tickets are available online through Webtickets or at any Pick N Pay store. Please note that no tickets are sold at our gate.

Do I need to pay the full price even if I am not going to use the slides or Swim?

Yes.  The ticket is the admission into the Water Park irrespective if you choose to use the facilities or not.  There are no refunds once the tickets have been purchased. 

What does our entrance fee include?

Your entrance fee includes the use of all our water park facilities (age-dependent water slides, swimming pools, splash pad (currently been renovated), picnic, and braai areas).  Combo Tickets – This ticket is for 1 person only (8 years to Adults). Allows entrance to Water Park and Rope Adventure Park – Day Time only (1 round only per person/ticket – Zip lines and climbing obstacles). 

If it rains can we get an alternative date or a refund?

At Pines Resort, we want you to have a splashing good time! If the weather on the morning of your visit isn’t quite playing along, don’t worry – you can reschedule your visit or request a refund. Just check out our refund policy for all the details.

But, here’s the catch: Once you’ve entered the resort and swapped your ticket for a wristband, the fun begins! Unfortunately, if the skies open up and rain comes pouring down after that, we won’t be able to offer refunds. So, make sure you’re ready to dive in and enjoy all the resort has to offer, rain or shine!

When should we purchase tickets?

Pines Resort tickets are hotter than the summer sun – they sell out fast! To guarantee your spot at our splash-tacular paradise, make sure to grab your tickets early through Webtickets or at any Pick N Pay store. With limited availability each day and no tickets sold at the gate, booking in advance is the key to an unforgettable day.

Be sure to have your valid ticket ready from Webtickets or Pick N Pay – we can’t wait to see you at the resort for a day of excitement, relaxation, and unforgettable memories!

Can we pay cash at the gate?

To make your visit smoother, please note that we do not accept cash or card payments at the gate. Tickets can only be purchased online through Webtickets or at any Pick N Pay store before you arrive. No tickets will be sold at the gate.

Remember, security will check your ticket upon entry, so make sure it’s ready for scanning.

Can we upgrade our tickets?

Exchanges and upgrades are allowed for water park tickets only, however no downgrades. The difference in price is payable at the ticket office or tuck shop.

What type of swimming attire should I wear?

Only synthetic costumes or proper swimming attire may be worn in the swimming pools and on the slides. No clothes may be worn for swimming.

What time does the swimming pool and waterslides close?

The swimming pools and waterslides close at 16:30.

Does the swimming pool remain open during rain spells?

All swimming pools at Pines Resort will remain open during rain spells. However, for the safety of our guests, management reserves the right to close the pools during periods of lightning and thunderstorms. If there is lightning detected within a certain radius, all guests must vacate the swimming pools and waterslides immediately.

The safety of our guests is our utmost priority.

Can we bring in Hubblys/Hookah Pipes?

Yes, but you can not walk around with it.  

Are lockers available?

Keyless/Electronic lockers are available for hire to secure your valuables.

IS THERE SHADE?

Yes, there is a shaded umbrella at each braai stand.  You may bring in your own Gazebo for extra shade.  No stretch tents.

Safety

Do you have lifeguards?

We have qualified lifeguards.  Always obey the lifeguards.

Food and Drink

Is alcohol allowed?

NO ALCOHOL of your own may be brought into the resort/parking area. All bags and gifts will be subjected to a search.

We kindly ask all guests NOT to bring alcohol to the resort. Alcohol is available for purchase on-site, and our full drinks menu can be found under the Info tab. Bringing alcohol to the entrance delays everyone’s experience, so please help us keep things running smoothly by adhering to this rule. No drinking in the parking area is allowed either. Keep it fun for everyone!

Are cooler boxes allowed?

Cooler boxers are allowed; however, NO ALCOHOL is allowed.  We have a full bar available. 

Are there Braai Stands?

Yes, there are Braai stands with grids provided at each picnic spot. The grids and braais are cleaned daily.

Is food allowed?

You can bring in your own food and cold drinks. If you are feeling a little lazy & don’t want to braai, fear not, as we sell delicious food at our shop. 

Can we bring in glass?

No drinking glasses or glass cold drink bottles.  Plastic is more than welcome.

Can we reserve a braai and picnic space?

Braai and Picnic space cannot be reserved up front or before the function date.  First come first served.

Can we bring in our own Braai Stand?

Yes, you are more than welcome to bring in your own.

Functions

If you book the Lapa, do you still have to pay the entrance fee?

Yes, the entrance fee is still applicable to all guests attending the function.

Can we use caterers?

Of course, you can use caterers, however, no drinking glasses or glass cold drink bottles are allowed. No electrical points are available.

Can we decorate the area?

You are more than welcome to decorate the area.

Are there electrical points?

There are no electrical points available at the resort.

Are music devices allowed?

No music devices are allowed.
